In a vibrant cultural event featuring participants from over 30 countries, Azerbaijani culture stood out at the British International School in Cairo, offering visitors a rich and lively display of the nation’s heritage.
This participation was made possible through the support and sponsorship of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Egypt, under the leadership of the active and engaged Ambassador Elkhan Polukhov, who played a pivotal role in organizing and coordinating Azerbaijan’s presence.
Visitors from various nationalities were drawn to the Azerbaijani booth, which showcased traditional dishes, famous Azerbaijani tea with national sweets, and a collection of cultural souvenirs that captivated both children and adults.
Attendees noted that the Azerbaijani booth was among the most prominent, both in presentation and content, reflecting Ambassador Polukhov’s ongoing efforts to strengthen cultural exchange and build bridges between the Azerbaijani and Egyptian peoples.
The event included cultural booths from countries such as the United Kingdom, United States, Italy, Brazil, Russia, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Egypt, with students and their families presenting cultural traditions, national attire, and culinary specialties from their homelands.
Azerbaijan’s dynamic presence at the event is part of an active cultural diplomacy strategy led by its embassy in Cairo, aiming to introduce young generations to Azerbaijani heritage and enhance the country’s cultural footprint on the international stage.
