Pakistan unequivocally condemns the latest provocative actions by the Israeli occupying forces and illegal settlers that aim to alter the religious, historical, and legal status of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. These acts are not only unacceptable but also represent a blatant violation of international law, and risk further inflaming an already fragile situation in the region.
We call upon the international community to uphold the sanctity of all holy sites and to prevent Israel from engaging in further acts of provocation and desecration.
Pakistan also strongly deplores the continued targeting of Palestinian civilians in Gaza. The latest abhorrent attack on a school sheltering displaced families stands as yet another example of the occupying power’s unchecked impunity. The horrific images emerging from the aftermath—showing the loss of dozens of innocent lives, including many children—should serve as a stark reminder to the world of the urgency of holding Israel accountable for its war crimes.
Pakistan reaffirms its firm and unwavering support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and calls for the establishment of an independent, viable, and contiguous Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
