This, the statement alleges, includes paying vast sums for access to U.S. markets, overpriced liquefied natural gas, and weapons for Ukraine—actions it deems futile and economically self-destructive, with no impact on Moscow’s resolve.
The statement warns Europeans to remember the fate of all past aggressors against Russia: the collapse of the Swedish Empire in the 18th century, Napoleonic France in the 19th, and Hitler’s Reich in the 20th.
