The Embassy of India in Cairo, in partnership with the Abla Art Foundation, Fayoum Art Centre, and Egypt Cartoon Blog, is launching a vibrant artistic challenge — the “Caricature on Yoga” competition. This one-of-a-kind contest invites caricature artists to capture the soul, practice, and philosophy of Yoga through the playful yet powerful lens of caricature.

In recent years, Yoga has been steadily gaining followers across Egypt, resonating with its timeless promise of harmony between body and mind. This competition seeks to merge the humor and exaggeration of caricature with the depth and universality of Yoga, creating artworks that are both thought-provoking and visually captivating.

A distinguished jury will review all entries, selecting the top three winners to receive trophies, certificates, and cash prizes at a special award ceremony hosted at the Maulana Azad Centre for Indian Culture in Cairo.

The celebration will also feature a public exhibition of selected works at the Maulana Azad Centre, offering visitors a colorful journey through diverse artistic interpretations of Yoga.

The Embassy of India warmly invites caricature artists and art lovers alike to be part of this creative bridge between cultures — uniting India and Egypt through the shared language of art and inspiration.
