Poetry: Ashraf Abo Arafe
At Alamein, the summit of loyalty rose,
Egypt and Saudi Arabia—beacons of virtue and grace.
They clasped the noble covenant with brotherhood,
Beneath banners of steadfast will and embrace.
They said: our path is truth, unshaken,
No whisper of doubt can sway or erase.
Egypt of Arab pride, Saudi in honor,
Two pillars of grandeur, of trials and praise.
At Alamein, their words harmonized,
Reviving peace, uprooting wrongs ablaze.
In Jerusalem beats a pulse they share,
And Gaza—the wound, unyielding, brave.
Libya calls with free Arab voice:
“No chains of strangers shall enslave.”
Sudan, our brother’s heart, beats as one,
Rejecting the shadow of every knave.
And Syria—we declare with all clarity:
“No legitimacy for the hand that raids.”
O summit of sincerity in an age of deceit,
Take flight! For in you, resolve forever stays.
