In a unified stance, the Egyptian President and the Prime Minister–Foreign Minister of Qatar firmly rejected any attempt to reimpose military occupation on the Gaza Strip or to displace the Palestinian people from their homeland.
The Egyptian President stressed that the time for reconstruction has come, calling for the immediate launch of rebuilding Gaza as the first step following a ceasefire—so that the Strip may once again pulse with life after years of devastation and suffering.
