I. Introduction

Within the framework of the China–Arab States Cooperation Forum, the 7th China–Arab Radio and Television Cooperation Forum convened under the theme:

“Media that Bridges Distances and Builds Understanding.”

This forum stands as one of the most vital institutional mechanisms for media cooperation between China and Arab countries. It gathers senior officials, broadcasters, producers, and experts from both sides to deepen professional collaboration, exchange technical expertise, and jointly promote high-quality content that reflects the shared values of dialogue, development, and cultural diversity.

II. Objectives

The forum’s seventh session aimed to:

  1. Deepen media cooperation between Chinese and Arab broadcasting institutions.
  2. Strengthen cultural exchange and foster balanced representation of both civilizations.
  3. Promote digital transformation in the broadcasting sector through knowledge sharing and innovation.
  4. Encourage joint productions such as documentaries and TV programs highlighting success stories in development and modernization.
  5. Build professional capacities through training programs and technical workshops.
  6. Implement the Memoranda of Understanding signed between the National Radio and Television Administration of China (NRTA) and the League of Arab States.
