Federal Minister for Defence of Pakistan Khawaja Muhammad Asif Visits Morocco
Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif undertook an official visit to the Kingdom of Morocco today. During the visit, Pakistan and Morocco signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Defence Cooperation, further strengthening bilateral defence and security ties.
The Minister held meetings with Mr. Abdellatif Loudiyi, Minister Delegate in charge of the National Defense Administration, and Mr. Nasser Bourita, Minister of Foreign Affairs. Delegation-level talks focused on enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
The two sides exchanged gifts, and the Pakistani Defence Minister presented a Pakistan-made football to his Moroccan counterpart. Earlier, he visited the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, offered Fateha, and signed the visitors’ book.
The visit reaffirmed the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Morocco and their shared commitment to peace, stability, and cooperation.
