Shaping Tomorrow’s Arab Youth… Ministers Chart a Collective Vision in Cairo

The Executive Bureau of the Arab Council of Youth and Sports Ministers held its 72nd session at the headquarters of the League of Arab States in Cairo, chaired by Egypt’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Ashraf Sobhi, with the participation of Ambassador Hussein Al-Hindawi, Assistant Secretary-General of the League.

The meeting’s agenda included the approval of recommendations issued by the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Youth and Sports Activities, as well as discussions on proposed youth initiatives encompassing programs, activities, and dialogue sessions. Among the highlighted proposals were the Fourth Arab–Chinese Cooperation Forum, the Ninth Arab–European Cooperation Forum, the Fourth Arab Youth Parliament Simulation Model, and specialized training courses on artificial intelligence, content creation, and youth awareness-building.

The agenda also featured training programs focusing on cybersecurity and youth mental health, alongside initiatives such as the Youth Excellence Award and the First Arab E-Sports Championship. In addition, ministries of youth and sports from several member states submitted proposals for a wide range of youth and sports activities aimed at reaching all segments of Arab youth and enhancing their engagement across the region.
