On the morning of August 16, rays of promise reached the homes of one hundred rural Egyptian families, as China’s New Hope Company completed the distribution of baby chicks, feed, veterinary medicines, and poultry-raising tools. It was not merely material aid, but a breath of new life released into the villages.
The initiative went further, with veterinary doctors visiting eight families to assess conditions and provide guidance. In the next phase, six more veterinarians will be trained and divided into two teams, ensuring continuous support for poultry-raising in each of the one hundred beneficiary households.
This technical training program was organized by the Chinese Embassy in Cairo, in cooperation with the Egyptian National Alliance for Civil Development Work and New Hope Company. It represents a shared endeavor, bringing modern poultry-raising techniques to Egypt’s countryside, fostering the fight against poverty, and empowering rural women—turning small homes into warm hearths of life, resilience, and brighter tomorrows.
