SIS – Palestinian Hamas movement welcomed on Sunday 1/10/2017 the arrival of Egyptian security delegation to Gaza to attend the ceremony on the return of the Palestinian National Authority government headed by Rami Al Hamdallah as ruler of the Gaza Strip.
The ceremony will take place onMonday2/10/2017, while the return of the Palestinian National Authority government to power comes in accordance with the agreement reached with Egyptian officials in Cairo.
Spokesman for Hamas Fawzi Barhoum said the arrival of the Egyptian delegation to Gaza serves as a triumph for the Cairo agreement and the continued Egyptian efforts to safeguard the Palestinian interests, as well as ending the division between disputed Palestinian parties.
Hamas is making efforts to insure the success of the Egyptian efforts, as Palestinians hold Egypt in high regard as a result of the country’s support to the Palestinian cause, Barhoum explained.
