SIS – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Thursday 19/10/2017 attended a naval exercise in Alexandria held as part of celebration marking the Egyptian Naval Day.
The president arrived on board Anwar el Sadat helicopter carrier to attend the simulation exercise. He was received by Defense Minister Sedki Sobhi, the army’s Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Mahmoud Hegazy and Commander of the Navy Lt. Gen. Ahmed Hassan.
The carrier joined the maneuver that was held to celebrate the occasion along with submarine 209 and a group of air defense teams.
The president applauded the successful maneuver that showed skills and readiness of the forces.
