To have bilateral relations boosted, KSA and UK sign a memorandum of understanding culturally and artistically through Diriyah Gate Development Authority and the British Council to expand areas of cooperation between them to serve and achieve their common goals.

The memorandum was signed by Jerry Inzerillo, CEO of the Diriyah Gate Development Authority Group, and Scott MacDonald, CEO of the British Council. The areas of cooperation include: exchanging experiences and knowledge in many areas, including the cultural sector, training and development, volunteer programs and community service.

Jerry Inzerillo stressed the importance of this memorandum in enhancing cooperation between the two parties, especially in exchanging information, studies and research, and benefiting from experts in the fields of arts and culture. The community and contribute to its development, in addition to cooperation in training and development programs related to arts, culture and English language, including joint training programs between the two parties in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

For his part, Scott MacDonald expressed his pride and happiness in signing the memorandum of understanding with the Diriyah Gate Development Authority, pointing out that the British Council will work in light of the memorandum to support communication with the authorities concerned with arts and culture with the aim of promoting arts and culture affairs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, including facilitating Lending opportunities in cultural organizations and museums in the United Kingdom, in addition to cooperation and coordination between the two parties regarding voluntary initiatives towards the Diriyah community, such as holding English language courses and summer training camps.
