Emergency services, including firefighters, national and municipal police, have reportedly arrived at the scene, according to the Spanish media.

An earlier reported bomb threat in Spain’s fourth-tallest skyscraper, The Torre Espacio, which hosts embassies of the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and the Netherlands, turned out to be a false alarm, the police stated.

This comes after earlier in the day, Reuters reported citing police spokeswoman that the edifice located at the Paseo de la Castellana was evacuated due to a suspected bomb. The National Police has urged anyone who was inside or in the vicinity of the building to follow the instructions of the security staff.

However, later in the day, police stated in a tweet that people can now re-enter the 235 metres high skyscraper.
