The State of Qatar strongly condemns the decision of the Israeli occupation government to stop the entry of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, and considers it a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement, international humanitarian law, the Fourth Geneva Convention and all religious laws.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses the State of Qatar’s categorical rejection of the use of food as a weapon of war and the starvation of civilians, and calls on the international community to oblige Israel to ensure the safe, sustainable and unhindered entry of humanitarian aid to all areas of the Strip.
The Ministry reiterates the State of Qatar’s firm position on the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, including the establishment of their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
