Today, Oman celebrates its 48th National Day with a number of events that embody the pride of the Omani people in their homeland and built by Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman. On the occasion of the Omani National Day, which falls on 18 November each year, Oman politically moves to bring peace And to maintain the stability of the Middle East region through contacts and visits at the highest level and its good offices in order to contribute to solving the problems and conflicts in the region through dialogue and peaceful means.
On this occasion, the Omani News Agency highlighted the efforts of Sultan Qaboos, his enlightened vision and his informed reading of what is happening in the world and his work to create the best system for peace and solving the problems in the region through dialogue and building the best relations between its countries and peoples within the framework of the rules of international law.

The Omani News Agency said that Oman, which is strong in its leadership and its sons, has been and will remain a safety valve and a pillar of security, stability and peace in the Gulf, the Arab region and the Middle East, and the Sultanate has witnessed the movement, communications and visits at the highest levels and its good endeavors to contribute to solving the problems and conflicts in the region, through dialogue and peaceful means, has very important implications.

The most important of these is Sultan Qaboos’ high esteem and prestige at all official and popular levels, and the keenness of many in the region and the world to listen to his assessment and vision of various developments and Peace Sarat.

It added that the peace that the peoples of the region are looking forward to today is not only for the Palestinian cause and for the need to reach a just and comprehensive solution within the framework of the two countries, but also for the various problems and crises in the region. It is important to note that while the Sultanate is witnessing a great momentum in its political moves and the development of its relations with other sisterly and friendly countries, the strategic partnership between the Sultanate and the People’s Republic of China was announced on May 25, marking the 40th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Among the important political moves were Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s visit to the Sultanate on February 4, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas’s visit on October 21, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on February 11, Ministers of Israel to the Sultanate on 25 October last. In terms of security and military, the Omani Agency noted the national exercise “Al-Shamoukh (strength)2″ and the joint Omani-British exercise “seif Al sarei (Sword Express) 3″ between the armed forces of the Sultan and the British Royal Armed Forces in October. It also mentioned that the national exercise “Al-Shamoukh 2″, in which units of the Sultan’s armed forces, the Royal Guard of Oman, the Royal Oman Police, and other military, security and civil forces participated, prepared all the country’s military, security and civilian institutions and their ability to work and cooperate closely to confront any developments. British joint “Sword Express 3” high combat efficiency of the Sultan’s armed forces and efficient planning, implementation and strict discipline of soldiers, also confirmed the ability to work in close harmony and close cooperation with the British armed forces friendly.
