The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League, Osama bin Ahmed Nuqli, valued the hosting of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia tomorrow, Tuesday, in partnership with the United Nations, by a remote conference for donors to Yemen.

Mr Nuqli stressed that the Kingdom’s invitation to hold the conference embodied its humanitarian and developmental contributions to support the brotherly Yemeni people and raise their human suffering, and reflects the Kingdom’s pioneering role as the first supporter of the Republic of Yemen and the largest funder of the United Nations humanitarian response plans.

Ambassador Nuqli pointed out the importance of holding the conference in light of the repercussions of the Corona pandemic, with the aim of helping the Yemeni people and alleviating their suffering, stressing that the conference comes as a continuation of the Kingdom’s continued support to the United Nations humanitarian response plans in Yemen through the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action.
