New Oman Leadership Assures supporting LAS – Bin Alawi

Headed by Oman Sultanate, LAS (League of Arab States) inagurated its 153rd ordinary summit of foreign affairs ministers.

* The new leadership of Oman!

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Yusuf bin Alawi, affirmed his country’s keenness under the new  leadership of Sultan Haytham bin Tarick Al Said, to maintain its principles in supporting the Arab League and cooperating with all Arab countries to achieve the goals of LAS and achieve Arab economic integration that serves the interests of Arab peoples.

* Welfare of Arab Peoples!

“The Sultanate of Oman will go ahead in proceeding according to these constants by continuing to support LAS 🙏and achieve all Arab countries’ goals for the welfare of Arab peoples.”, said bin Alawi.

* Deterioration of 2011!

Bin Alawi pointed to the deterioration of the Arab situation during the past years and the transformation of aspirations in 2011 into a state of division and conflicts.

* Confidence restore!

“The Arab League Council should consider what we have reached, work to restructure the joint Arab action, and work to restore confidence with our regional neighborhood and global powers.”, The minister of foreign affairs added.

* Cooperation & integration!

He stressed the importance of developing scientific mechanisms to take advantage of developments so that Arab can catch up with the global ride, pointing out the importance of strengthening cooperation and integration with various peoples of the world.

* Peaceful coexistence!

He stressed that without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, there will be no ability to achieve stability in the region and provide the environment necessary for peaceful coexistence between Palestinians and Israelis.

* Serious Negotiations!

He stressed that resolving the Palestinian and Israeli conflict is an Israeli interest for the region and the world, and Israel has no way but to enter into serious negotiations with the Palestinians.

* Two-country solution!

Bin Alawi said that the international community must shoulder its historical responsibility and move to end this conflict by realizing the truth of two-cou try solution, Palestinians and Israelis.
