The Egyptian Embassy and its support for the activities of the department, especially in carrying out the tasks of introducing the Arab civilization and its cultural heritage. <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>Abu Zeid praised the great role of the department and its various scientific materials dealing with the arts, culture, history, languages \u200b\u200band Arab politics,<\/em><\/span> which were carefully developed to ensure that learners learn about the various streams of Arab culture and build bridges of communication and understanding among peoples.<\/p>\n<p>Abu Zeid revealed that the meeting highlighted the importance of providing political support to the Department of Arab Studies at the University of Ottawa, and other similar sections in various Canadian universities, especially in light of some of these departments of administrative and financial challenges, at a time of increasing demand by Canadian students and others Canadians, which will contribute to the <em><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">creation<\/span><\/em> of strong links and bridges of communication and cultural dialogue between Canada and the Arab countries.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ashraf Abo Arafe Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, Ambassador of Egypt to Canada, met today (November 16th) Dr. Abdullah Obeid, President of the Chair of Arab Studies at the University of Ottawa, and Dr. Mai El-Tlemassani, Chair of the Research Group for Arab-Canadian Studies at the University.
