Cairo is preparing to host a unique cultural and charitable event, as the Turkish Embassy<\/strong> organizes a grand exhibition and artistic performance on Turkish wedding traditions and costumes<\/strong> at the historic Abdeen Palace<\/strong> on November 19, 2025<\/strong>. The event will be held under the patronage of Mrs. Naglaa Abdel-Salam Hanem<\/strong>, spouse of Egypt\u2019s Foreign Minister, and Mrs. Ay\u015fen Bal\u00e7\u0131k \u015een Han\u0131m<\/strong>, spouse of the Turkish Ambassador to Cairo.<\/p>\n

The exhibition, presented in cooperation with the Izmir Institute of Development under Turkey\u2019s Ministry of National Education<\/strong>, will showcase a rich collection of traditional bridal gowns from various regions of Anatolia, modeled by professional performers, along with live displays of authentic Turkish wedding customs.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Turkish Ambassador to Cairo, Salih Mutlu \u015een<\/strong>, announced via his official X<\/strong> account that all proceeds from ticket sales<\/strong> will be donated through the Egyptian Red Crescent<\/strong> to support the people of Gaza. He also highlighted the participation of Turkish investors in Egypt who are backing this humanitarian initiative.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The choice of Abdeen Palace<\/strong>, described by the ambassador as \u201cEgypt\u2019s Dolmabah\u00e7e,\u201d carries symbolic weight. A smaller version of this event was held last May at the Turkish Ambassador\u2019s residence in Cairo under the theme \u201cWe Have a Wedding\u201d<\/strong>, which received overwhelming interest from Egyptian attendees.
