O world of treachery and betrayal,
\nHow can years of giving and sacrifice
\nBe repaid with denial and cold disdain?<\/p>\n

When children turn away from decades of care,
\nWhen love is replaced by spite,
\nMercy by cruelty,
\nRoots by rebellion,
\nAnd values by mockery\u2014
\nWhat is left of honor?<\/p>\n

Is this the reward of dreams and generosity\u2014
\nTo meet ungrateful hearts,
\nExploitation, and scorn?
\nCan a father dissolve himself
\nSo his children may live,
\nOnly to be met with a hollow smile,
\nA poisoned word,
\nOr a whispered prayer
\nThat death might hasten inheritance?<\/p>\n

They lost their way,
\nAbandoning the mosques,
\nForsaking the Qur\u2019an,
\nChasing the glitter of wealth
\nAnd bowing before desire,
\nForgetting the whispered supplications
\nOf mothers at dawn.<\/p>\n

They ran after the illusion of freedom,
\nBlinded by the fever of money
\nAnd the lure of screens.
\nFamilies fractured,
\nHomes grew estranged\u2014
\nStrangers under a single roof.<\/p>\n

What goodness can be hoped for
\nFrom hearts that fled the light of God?
\nThey were deceived by false prophets
\nWho dressed rebellion as \u201cfreedom,\u201d
\nEstrangement as \u201cindependence,\u201d
\nAnd greed as \u201csuccess.\u201d<\/p>\n

Now hearts are hardened,
\nEyes unmoistened,
\nAnd souls emptied of mercy.
\nHow many mothers weep alone at night?
\nHow many fathers sit forgotten
\nOn the steps of nursing homes,
\nSeparated from their children
\nBy the walls of ingratitude?<\/p>\n

And we still ask\u2014why are families broken?
\nWhy do divorce and betrayal rise?
\nIt is the policy of division, no doubt\u2014
\nExecuted by the very children it enslaves,
\nUnder the banner: Divide and rule.<\/em><\/p>\n

Fed by base dramas,
\nImported thoughts,
\nAnd a culture that reproduces the colonizer
\nIn the mask of modernity.<\/p>\n

The mirror no longer shows truth\u2014
\nIt warps, it deceives,
\nMagnifying illusions,
\nDiminishing reality,
\nBeautifying ugliness,
\nAnd staining beauty.<\/p>\n

Is this not the bullying world,
\nThe treacherous world?
\nWhere if men love you in it,
\nGod may despise you\u2014
\nAnd if men forsake you,
\nGod may raise you.<\/p>\n

So the bitter harvest comes,
\nBorn of a storm
\nThat uprooted kinship,
\nSowed seeds of estrangement,
\nAnd sold bonds of love
\nFor a counterfeit freedom.<\/p>\n

O you deceived by wealth,
\nBewitched by children\u2019s glow\u2014
\nRemember the Word of God:
\n\u201cIndeed, your wealth and your children are but a trial.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Do not let this fleeting world
\nBlind you from its Giver.
\nThey are but a test\u2014
\nWill you give thanks, or deny?
\nWill you obey God through them,
\nOr disobey Him for their sake?
\nWill you exchange His pleasure
\nFor theirs?<\/p>\n

That is the true loss\u2014
\nWhen kin turn enemies,
\nWhen blessing becomes curse,
\nAnd children drag a soul to ruin.<\/p>\n

For God has said:
\n\u201cO you who believe, let not your wealth or your children distract you from the remembrance of God. And whoever does so\u2014they are the losers.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Woe to those who lose both worlds\u2014
\nNeither child nor wealth shall aid them,
\nNor lineage or rank avail them.
\nThen they will know:
\nGod alone remains.
\nWhoever loses Him has lost all,
\nAnd whoever finds Him\u2014
\nHas found everything.<\/p>\n

And in the Divine words:
\n\u201cO son of Adam, seek Me and you will find Me.
\nIf you find Me, you have found all things.
\nBut if I escape you, you have lost all things.
\nAnd I am dearer to you than all things.\u201d<\/p>\n

And the Prophet of mercy,
\nTruthful of tongue, declared:
\n\u201cNo one of you truly believes
\nUntil I am dearer to him than himself,
\nHis wealth, his children,
\nAnd all mankind.\u201d<\/p>\n

So place the love of God
\nAbove the love of sons,
\nHis obedience above desire.
\nOnly then will hearts be healed,
\nFamilies whole,
\nAnd homes filled with mercy.<\/p>\n

O Lord, do not make this world
\nOur greatest concern,
\nNor wealth or children our trial.
\nBless us with Your bounty here,
\nAnd Paradise in the Hereafter.
\nKeep our hearts steadfast,
\nGrant us from You a mercy\u2014
\nFor without You, we are lost.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
