{"id":40152,"date":"2025-08-30T14:25:32","date_gmt":"2025-08-30T11:25:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aldiplomasy.com\/en\/?p=40152"},"modified":"2025-08-30T14:37:59","modified_gmt":"2025-08-30T11:37:59","slug":"tomorrow-shall-i-meet-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aldiplomasy.com\/en\/?p=40152","title":{"rendered":"Tomorrow, Shall I Meet You?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Poetry: Ashraf AboArafe<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tomorrow, shall I meet you?<br \/>\nOh, my heart still shakes with fear.<br \/>\nLonging burns within me,<br \/>\nAs the promised hour draws near.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">I once drew tomorrow closer,<br \/>\nYet I trembled, turned away\u2026<br \/>\nStill, I hailed its gentle promise,<br \/>\nWhen it smiled on me that day.<br \/>\nLife I bear\u2014its bliss and sorrow,<br \/>\nIn its fire and joy I stay,<br \/>\nFree in soul, yet bound in passion,<br \/>\nMelting heart that fades away.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tomorrow, shall I meet you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You\u2014my Eden, my desire,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the flame my soul has known,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the kiss of life and spirit,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the music of my own.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Will tomorrow light your brightness,<br \/>\nIn the darkness of my eyes?<br \/>\nAh, the joy of dream\u2019s fulfillment,<br \/>\nAh, the fear that underlies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tomorrow, shall I meet you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">How I call you\u2014hear my pleading,<br \/>\nEvery note a prayer I sing.<br \/>\nOh, my waiting\u2014how it broke me,<br \/>\nHope became a sharpened sting.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Were it not for you, my darling,<br \/>\nNone who come or go would stay.<br \/>\nFor my life is but tomorrow,<br \/>\nDreaming still of our one day.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Come\u2014or linger, love, forever,<br \/>\nDo with me whate\u2019er you please,<br \/>\nFor my heart is yours completely,<br \/>\nBreak or heal, deny or seize.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tomorrow, shall I meet you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This world is but a story,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the thought within its page.<br \/>\nThis world is fleeting seasons,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the years that never age.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This world is eyes wide open,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the sight their gaze adorns.<br \/>\nThis world is sky unending,<br \/>\nYou\u2014the moon that night reborns.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So have mercy, love, I beg you,<br \/>\nOn this heart that longs and prays,<br \/>\nFor tomorrow you shall hold it,<br \/>\nIn your tender hands always.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tomorrow, shall I meet you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And tomorrow blooms with rivers,<br \/>\nWith its gardens, shade, and grace.<br \/>\nAnd tomorrow, we forget it\u2014<br \/>\nEvery sorrow, time erased.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">And tomorrow, dreams will guide us,<br \/>\nEvery shadow fades away.<br \/>\nYes, the future may be lovely\u2014<br \/>\nBut the present shines today.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Tomorrow, shall I meet you?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Poetry: Ashraf AboArafe Tomorrow, shall I meet you?
