{"id":40594,"date":"2025-09-17T17:43:55","date_gmt":"2025-09-17T14:43:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aldiplomasy.com\/en\/?p=40594"},"modified":"2025-09-17T23:29:41","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T20:29:41","slug":"satire-of-the-3rd-arab-islamic-summit-doha-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aldiplomasy.com\/en\/?p=40594","title":{"rendered":"Satire of the 3rd Arab\u2013Islamic Summit..Doha 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Poetry: Ashraf AboArafe<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 36pt;\"><strong>O<\/strong><\/span> nation of wounds \u2014 thy third summit convenes,<br \/>\nWhile Gaza still weeps, her children unseen.<\/p>\n<p>The peoples cry out: \u201cCut the oil from the foe!\u201d<br \/>\nYet leaders who vowed it, are silent and slow.<\/p>\n<p>Close down the seas and the skies to their flight,<br \/>\nLet no hostile bird dare to soar in our night.<\/p>\n<p>Send forth an army to shatter their walls,<br \/>\nFor naught but the end of Zion\u2019s reign befalls.<\/p>\n<p>Restore to the pages of history past<br \/>\nThe oneness of nations, unbroken, steadfast.<\/p>\n<p>A dinar, a dirham, when placed in the fight,<br \/>\nRestores trade\u2019s glory, a heritage bright.<\/p>\n<p>And bind your faith to a single creed,<br \/>\nThat raises the youth on Revelation\u2019s seed.<\/p>\n<p>Egypt proclaimed with her army so near,<br \/>\nYet labors in councils with words, not spear.<\/p>\n<p>Thus perished the cry of justice in halls,<br \/>\nWhere thrones weighed heavy, and hope but falls.<\/p>\n<p>Qatar, that once grasped, then faltered, withdrew,<br \/>\nAnd treaties denied by the faithless grew.<\/p>\n<p>The summit\u2019s oration \u2014 a lukewarm stream,<br \/>\nNo draught for the thirsty, no guiding dream.<\/p>\n<p>What statement is this, so feeble, so frail,<br \/>\nConspired in whispers where promises pale?<\/p>\n<p>You barter the blood of nations away,<br \/>\nTo tyrants whose hands in oppression stay.<\/p>\n<p>See RUBIO in Tel Aviv, bold in his vow:<br \/>\n\u201cThe ancient alliance stands stronger now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While you, in assemblies, inscribe on the air,<br \/>\nMere words like the wind \u2014 they vanish, they tear.<\/p>\n<p>In slaughter, content with a \u201ccondemnation\u201d phrase?<br \/>\nCan chants and protests set fire ablaze?<\/p>\n<p>Gaza calls out: \u201cIs there none to defend?<br \/>\nNo armies to muster, no hearts to lend?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAre there no men to recall their fame,<br \/>\nTo stand on the borders, to guard the name?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>O summit proclaimed \u201cthe Third Emergency,\u201d<br \/>\nYou crumbled on stages of shame, for all to see.<\/p>\n<p>If honor you answer not, face to face,<br \/>\nWill God then have mercy, or grant you grace?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take your seat of disgrace, inscribed evermore,<br \/>\nFor Judgment shall strike you \u2014 account to the core.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Poetry: Ashraf AboArafe &nbsp; &nbsp; O nation of wounds \u2014 thy third summit convenes, While Gaza still weeps, her children unseen.
