He welcomed the royal visit as a reflection of the deep bonds between the two friendly nations and commended Spain\u2019s consistent support for Egypt within the European Union, stressing the importance of continued backing in European institutions as both countries share common positions aimed at ending conflicts and promoting regional stability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Foreign Minister also highlighted opportunities for bilateral cooperation, particularly in investment, energy, and green hydrogen projects, while underscoring the importance of further collaboration in tourism, education, migration, and counter-terrorism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On regional affairs, Abdelatty briefed his Spanish counterpart on the outcomes of the Arab-Islamic Emergency Summit held in Doha on September 15. He reiterated Egypt\u2019s firm rejection of Israel\u2019s violations of the sovereignty of Arab states and strongly condemned Israel\u2019s ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people in Gaza, including the recent unlawful ground invasion.
