Not all jealousy is virtue.<\/strong><\/span>
\nSome of it is blind fire\u2014<\/strong><\/span>
\nwhen it ignites,<\/strong><\/span>
\nit burns its bearer<\/strong><\/span>
\nbefore it ever touches another.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is the belittling of others\u2019 creativity,<\/strong><\/span>
\nthe shrinking of tall figures<\/strong><\/span>
\nso the dwarf\u2019s illusion may stand tall.<\/strong><\/span>
\nIt is mockery without right,<\/strong><\/span>
\na hollow laugh<\/strong><\/span>
\nmasking an empty heart<\/strong><\/span>
\nand the poverty of proof.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It is the planting of plots in darkness,<\/strong><\/span>
\nwhen the shadow fails<\/strong><\/span>
\nto stand in the light,<\/strong><\/span>
\nand tries to assassinate the glow\u2014<\/strong><\/span>
\nnot because it is wrong,<\/strong><\/span>
\nbut because it shines.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The fire of blind jealousy<\/strong><\/span>
\nbetrays its owner;<\/strong><\/span>
\nit reveals the narrowness of certainty,<\/strong><\/span>
\nthe trembling of the soul<\/strong><\/span>
\nwhen calmness abandons it.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the balance of Islam,<\/strong><\/span>
\njealousy is not suspicion nor spying,<\/strong><\/span>
\nnor a doubt that gnaws at hearts;<\/strong><\/span>
\nit is awareness guarding values,<\/strong><\/span>
\nand wisdom that knows its limits<\/strong><\/span>
\nand does not cross them.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The faith forbade suspicion when it corrupts,<\/strong><\/span>
\nmockery when it destroys,<\/strong><\/span>
\nand plotting<\/strong><\/span>
\nwhen it turns into aggression.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Commendable jealousy<\/strong><\/span>
\nis light without smoke,<\/strong><\/span>
\ncare without humiliation,<\/strong><\/span>
\nand honest critique<\/strong><\/span>
\nthat elevates rather than demolishes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

But blind jealousy\u2014<\/strong><\/span>
\nit is the disgrace of its bearer,<\/strong><\/span>
\nand the collapse of meaning<\/strong><\/span>
\nwhen reason<\/strong><\/span>
