His Excellency the Advisor to the Royal Court and the General Supervisor of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, met in the city of Al-Arish in the Arab Republic of Egypt, with the Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the delicate humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip and ways to deliver aid to the displaced there.
Lazzarini appreciated the Kingdom’s support, represented by the Center, for the Palestinian people to alleviate their suffering as a result of the current humanitarian crisis, expressing his sincere thanks for the Saudi support provided to UNRWA, which contributed to carrying out its duties towards those affected in the Gaza Strip.
