The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque – represented by the Agency for Languages and Translation – provided its services to the guests of Rahman in (50) languages, through a constellation of distinguished translators spread in the corridors of the Grand Mosque around the clock.

The Undersecretary of the General Presidency for Languages and Translation, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamidi, explained that translation in the Grand Mosque consists of two main axes, the first of which is a guiding field translation for pilgrims, and a specialized legal translation for pulpit sermons and lessons, as the agency has recently expanded its services to include all corridors and entrances to the Grand Mosque, in addition to to increase the number of languages in the field to more than 50; To ensure comprehensive services for all non-Arabic speaking visitors.

Al-Hamidi stressed the need to convey the message of the Two Holy Mosques to visitors to the Sacred House of God and Muslims around the world, as the agency is keen to activate the role of technology to deliver this message using the latest mechanisms of direct radio broadcasting and in ten approved international languages, through the platform of the Lighthouse of the Two Holy Mosques and through FM broadcasting, and that he has benefited more from it. From 10 million beneficiaries during the first half of this year.
