Ambassador Osama Noqli inaugurates the Forum of Tourism Program Services, Hotels and Umrah Services

 The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, inaugurated today in Cairo the 22nd International Forum for Tourism Program Services, Hotels and Umrah Services.

 Ambassador Noqli toured the exhibition accompanying the two-day forum, in which about 40 Saudi service providers and companies marketing services from Egypt and a number of Arab countries are participating, and listened to an explanation of the new products offered by these companies to serve pilgrims and visitors, in addition to other tourism services.

 He noted the level of advanced services provided by the companies present at the exhibition, stressing that the forum aims to enhance cooperation, communication, exchange of experiences, and coordination of services provided between companies in the Kingdom and their counterparts in Egypt to work as an integrated system in light of the development renaissance witnessed by the two brotherly countries.

 On the developments in the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus and its impact on the season of Umrah and visitation, Ambassador Noqli said: “We all wish that life would return as it was before the pandemic and live without restrictions and precautionary measures, but the Corona pandemic imposed restrictions and precautionary measures on the entire world, especially in light of the rapid spread of the pandemic. Which gatherings is one of the biggest reasons for its spread.”

 And he indicated that Umrah was opened in the Kingdom as part of precautionary measures keen to enable it to perform it while preserving the health of pilgrims, according to precautionary measures and in coordination with all Islamic countries, including Egypt, in which a meeting of the Umrah Committee was recently held from Egypt with its counterpart in the Kingdom, drawing attention to Egypt’s announcement of organizing regulations for the implementation of Umrah trips for the 1443 AH season.
