Applying PCR tests at Cairo Airport – Civil aviation minister

It is reported by MENA that minister of Civil Aviation Mohamed Mannar made on Wednesday 2/9/2020 an inspection tour of the Terminal No. 3 at Cairo International Airport at the peak hour of arrivals to follow up the implementation of a decision by the Egyptian government on PCR certificates for incomers to the country.

The decision requires all passengers from different nationalities to present a certificate of PCR negative test that is conducted at most 72 hours before departure to Egypt so as to be able to enter the country.

The minister was satisfied with the mechanism of applying the decision in cooperation with the quarantine office at the airport.

He was also satisfied with all precautionary measures adopted at the airport against the coronavirus.
