Azhar students: Saudi pavilion enjoys a good reputation of Arab readers

The Saudi Pavilion participated in the fiftieth anniversary of the Cairo International Book Fair yesterday, hosted a student delegation from the Institute of Islamic Sciences, Al-Azhar University.

The students wandered in the corridors of the pavilion and stopped at the corners of a mission such as the corner of the Prophet’s biography, which shows the Prophet’s grace, and the corner of the sewing part of the cover of the Kaaba dedicated to the cover of the Kaaba this year, as well as their visit to the corner of the statues of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque.

The students expressed their happiness to visit the Kingdom pavilion, stressing that the pavilion has become an annual destination for its visit to the distinguished publishing houses, bookstores and pillars that provide valuable exhibits and statues of some holy places.t

Students explained that the Saudi libraries and publishing houses have become a vital source of the acquisition of the books they are keen on, especially the Saudi book because of its documentation and accurate investigation, as well as its quality in terms of printing, coordination and smooth method.

The students of the Institute of Islamic Sciences also praised the good reputation enjoyed by the Saudi writer, author and researcher with the Arab reader.

At the end of their tour, the students praised the organization, coordination and good reception within the pavilion, noting that the content of the Saudi publishing houses highlights the literary, cultural and scientific output of the Kingdom. The Saudi publishing houses were able to provide a good picture of the culture, history and civilization of the Kingdom. , Especially in the fields of jurisprudence, modernity and contemporary issues currently being raised.

The Kingdom’s pavilion has been visited by a number of Egyptian officials led by Sheikh Al-Azhar Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb, former President of Al-Azhar University, Dr. Ahmed Omar Hashim, Minister of Awqaf Dr. Mohammad Mokhtar Jumaa and First Deputy of the Egyptian House of Representatives Mr. Al-Sharif. They all praised the Saudi cultural and religious production presented in the publishing houses participating in the pavilion and expressed their great pleasure in the Kingdom’s keenness to participate in the annual exhibition, reflecting the depth of the strong relations between Egypt and  Saudi Arabia.
