The member states of the Non-Aligned Movement issued a statement in support of Azerbaijan. The Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement, which was held on a hypothetical form, resulted in a special statement that came as follows:
The member states of the Non-Aligned Movement strongly condemn the resumption of hostilities in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict and deplore the loss of life and its impact on the civilian population.
“The Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement reaffirms its support for resolving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan on the basis of United Nations Security Council resolutions (S / RES / 822, S / RES / 853, S / RES / 874, S / RES / 884).
The member states of the Non-Aligned Movement express their firm support for the independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and solidarity of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Republic of Azerbaijan in accordance with the principled position of the Movement.
The member states of the Non-Aligned Movement have taken into account the relevant invitation of the UN Secretary-General on 27 September 2020.
