Moreover, Egypt expressed its aspiration that the implementation of this legislation would lead to confronting these unfortunate phenomena, to avoid the promotion of intolerance, extremism, and hate speech that they lead to, and to confront the extremely negative effects they have on efforts to promote a culture of civilizational dialogue between countries and peoples, which is based on accepting cultural diversity and seeking… To bring together different human values and customs.
In this regard, the Arab Republic of Egypt also reaffirmed its firm position on condemning insults to all beliefs and religions, which are in no way considered a manifestation of freedom of opinion, and called on the rest of the European countries in which such incidents have occurred to follow Denmark’s example.
