In Berlin, Oman has been awarded the Best Quality Leadership Award of 2019 by the European Foundation for Quality Research (ESQR), which selects the representatives of the winning countries based on the results of surveys and extensive studies. The new task entitlements coincide with the preparations for the celebrations on the 23rd of July on the Omani Renaissance Day.
The award is an international recognition of the Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Higher Education. It is presented to government institutions and sectors from around the world who have demonstrated outstanding leadership by taking innovative initiatives based on initiatives to improve quality development.
This is complemented by the Omani Ministry of Higher Education’s recognition of the “Commitment to Excellence” category from the European Foundation as well. The ministry is developing electronic services for beneficiaries, which amounted to 144 electronic services.
The Sultanate’s award for the award reflects an international initiative to honor the achievements of its higher education process and its innovative steps to provide the best services and procedures.
Besides the Sultanate of Oman, the European Foundation has awarded prizes to institutions from Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, and was established in 1987 to strengthen cooperation between stakeholders in the field of excellence and sustainability and to build a network of relationships involving all members of governmental and private organizations of all sizes in different sectors around the world.
It recognizes only those companies and institutions with exceptional success that increase the full potential of their services through quality-oriented practices. They take a comprehensive look at the strategies that business leaders implement in their companies and institutions, recognize the efforts of exceptional and talented individuals and provide them with the impetus for continued progress.
