The service of pilgrims coming to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to perform the rituals of Umrah, from the east and west of the land, is no longer limited to government agencies, which contributed to the entry of a number of non-profit sectors in the field of serving pilgrims to the ancient house. With the aim of enriching the religious experience of pilgrims.

The developmental moves undertaken by the NGOs to serve the pilgrims are based on achieving the ambitious vision of the Saudi government, which aims by 2030 to attract up to 30 million pilgrims, in addition to its role in enhancing the human mental image of the Kingdom.

These community movements intersect with a previous extensive study carried out by the Service of the Guests of God program, which is one of the executive programs of the Kingdom’s Vision 2032, on the importance of the contributions made by the non-profit sector in serving the guests of God, especially those related to distinguished charitable works, which is reflected in the development of the field of charitable work. In the service of Hajj and Umrah.

Among the Saudi models that have proven their worth at the national societal level is the “Servant of the Guest of Rahman” project, which was launched by the Association of Neighborhood Centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in cooperation with the governmental “Ihsan Platform”. Through which it aims to provide high-quality services to the pilgrims, within the framework of enriching the religious experience and the services provided to them, and contributing to the promotion of watering and irrigation and maximizing its impact.

The “Servant of the Guest of Rahman” project is a cultural and religious development project that will continue until next July. It includes three major qualitative initiatives:

watering & irrigation,.. pilgrims Center.. guests of God service

The first initiative that was launched during the holy month of Ramadan was the “Watering and Refreshment” initiative, through which the association aims to distribute about 50 million water bottles to pilgrims and visitors in several locations adjacent to the vicinity of the Holy Mosque of Mecca, and expands to reach their places in the cities of “Jeddah and Taif.” ,

In addition to distributing nearly 250,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals in the Holy Capital.

This is in addition to its role inside the Grand Mosque in terms of guiding the lost, organizing worshipers and traffic, pushing vehicles, and other initiatives.

The Association of Neighborhood Centers in Makkah Al-Mukarramah is concerned with the development of people and places, through specialized social centers that work to improve the quality of life, while achieving its goals depends on establishing integrated headquarters in neighborhoods that serve as high-level social, sports and cultural centers.

It also aims to spread sound awareness and virtuous morals, develop the values of communication, maximize the value of the Sacred Land among the people of the neighborhoods and groups of society and visitors to the Sacred House, contribute to family building, and reduce social problems.
