Cairo Opera House sings in Turkish as modern Türkiye founded 100 years ago and the Turkish MFA founded 400 years earlier

Tonight, the Embassy of Türkiye in Cairo organized a music show at Cairo Opera House on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic

The Turkish band Cemil Beyzadeh at the Cairo Opera House, on the occasion of the centenary of the founding of the Turkish Republic and the 500th anniversary of the founding of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

During the ceremony, Turkey’s Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen received a number of invited ambassadors, including: Azerbaijan, South Korea, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brunei, Ghana, Panama, and Mongolia.

The ceremony was also attended by Amr Moussa, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Atilla Atasifin, President of the Turkish and Egyptian Businessmen Association, Dr. Ibrahim Aslan, the Turkish cultural advisor, Sherif Gad – Director of Cultural Activity at the Russian Cultural Center, the artist Dina Abdullah, the artist Ahmed Shaker Abdel Latif.

Several musical pieces were presented, and Egyptian singer Laila Ibrahim also presented a piece of music in Turkish.
