KSA wins the presidency of ARAC

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Executive Director of the Saudi Accreditation Center, won the unanimous vote of the member states under the presidency of the Arab Accreditation Bureau, during the eleventh General Assembly of the Arab Accreditation Bureau, held in Riyadh.

  In its next session, the Arab Accreditation Bureau will be headed by the Executive Director of the Saudi Accreditation Center, Dr. Adel bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qaid, in a national achievement that confirms the prominent position of quality infrastructure in the Kingdom in light of the unlimited support of the wise leadership.

  For his part, Dr. Al-Qaid thanked Amina Muhammad for her presidency of the current session and the efforts she made in leading the Arab body, expressing his appreciation to all member states for providing confidence to lead the body in the coming period.

  It is noteworthy that the Arab Accreditation Authority was established in the year 2008 by a decision of the Ministerial Council of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (IDESMO), and includes under its umbrella 21 national accreditation bodies and bodies. It represents the comprehensive umbrella for mutual international recognition in the Arab countries, and aims to plan and coordinate the activity of accrediting bodies. Evaluating conformity in Arab countries, which in turn will contribute to facilitating intra-Arab trade among themselves as well as between other countries.
