The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, received today, Tuesday, in his office at the embassy, ​​the Saudi photographic artist Khaled Khedr. Khedr expressed his thanks and appreciation for all the efforts made by the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Cairo to make the exhibition “Mecca and Medina between the Past and the Present” a success. Which was held at the Cairo Opera House last Tuesday.

During the meeting, Khader presented Ambassador Osama Naqli with all 32 pictures of the exhibition that reflect the most prominent efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the expansion of the Two Holy Mosques, as well as the paintings that record the transfer of the covering of the Kaaba when it came from Egypt to the Kingdom annually.

For his part, Ambassador Noqli thanked the veteran artist Khaled Khader for this gift, expressing his happiness with the success of the exhibition, which is one of the tributaries of strengthening joint cultural relations between the Kingdom and Egypt.

It is worth noting that the Saudi artist Khaled Khader, nicknamed “The Photographer of the Two Holy Mosques”, owns an art archive that includes more than two million images that monitor the features of development in the Kingdom. Kheder to be the first Saudi photographic artist to photograph the most prominent Egyptian landmarks, to display them during the official joint events in the Kingdom through an exhibition entitled “Egypt with Saudi Eyes”.
