In a meeting with the ambassadors of Islamic countries, the Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs (FA), Mr Amir Hussein Abdulahyan said:
We are pleased that in recent months we have been able to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran through diplomacy and negotiation.
He added, “We also welcome the development of relations and the normal return of relations with other countries in the region and the Islamic world, including the Arab Republic of Egypt and the sister Islamic state and Morocco.”
And at the same time, Mr Abdullahyan expressed Iran’s concern about the crisis and the outbreak of civil war in Sudan.
