In his speech, Representative Maghawri highlighted the consequences of the brutal aggression against Palestine. Stressing the necessity of issuing a binding resolution by the Security Council and resorting to Article Seven of the United Nations Charter to provide international protection for the Palestinian people in the face of continued Zionist aggression, expansion and racism, and to punish the Zionist entity and the occupation army for its ongoing crimes.
For his part, the Ambassador of the State of Palestine in Cairo, Diab Al-Louh, expressed his thanks to the Tagammu Party for this specific initiative and the stand in solidarity with our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, and all the occupied territories in light of what they are exposed to from all types of Zionist terrorism. He thanked the Egyptian leadership, government and army in conjunction with the fiftieth anniversary of the glorious October War, which paved the way for all freedom fighters, especially the Palestinian Liberation Movement, to move forward until liberating the last inch of the occupied Palestinian territories.

Ambassador Al-Louh stressed that Palestine is going through very difficult historical moments, which are among the most dangerous battles and wars that the Palestinian people have fought because they target the presence of the Palestinian people on their land and want to uproot them from it, drawing attention to President Mahmoud Abbas’s saying, “We will not leave our land and we will not allow there to be new immigration.” He described the past eight days as among the most difficult days that have passed for the Palestinian people as a result of this brutal Israeli aggression targeting the people in the Gaza Strip with a genocidal war waged against the Palestinian presence, whether through systematic destruction of homes and infrastructure and intentional targeting of paralyzing life and movement in the Gaza Strip by cutting off electricity. Water, bombing of crossings, and stopping of gas and electricity stations, stressing that all of these data and very dark and complex conditions are the result of racist Israeli practices that contradict international and humanitarian law and the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Ambassador Al-Louh confirmed that Israel is continuing to violate international laws and is issuing its orders, oppression and threats to displace the Palestinian people in an attempt to empty the Gaza Strip of its population and destroy it, pointing to the statement of a military general that the bombs dropped on the Gaza Strip in three days are equivalent to what America dropped on Al-Qaeda and Afghanistan. In a whole year; He continued by saying that Palestine is now facing Israel and America together, which did not hesitate to rush to side with the deepening Israeli injustice against Palestine and took the initiative to send money, weapons, modern destructive missiles, and American and British battleships. It moved in solidarity with Israel, stressing that thanks to the flogging of our people and the gathering of free votes from the whole world and Egypt. In particular, to support the Palestinian people in their plight, and thanks to the position of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the Egyptian leadership and army, their settlement colonial plans will not be achieved, and the Palestinian people will remain steadfast on their land, firmly rooted in the ground like an olive tree, and no one will be able to uproot them from their land.

Ambassador Al-Louh stressed that Palestine is keen on Egyptian national security, and that the Palestinian and Egyptian leaders are working in partnership to confront all challenges and preserve Egyptian sovereignty over its lands, and that the right of return is guaranteed to the lands of Palestine, and that Palestine, as it previously rejected settlement plans, will continue to struggle and reject all plans to displace Palestinians to Egypt or Other than that, and that there is no Palestinian state without Gaza and no Palestinian state in Gaza and that there is no capital without Jerusalem, there is no capital in Jerusalem, but rather Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine.

Ambassador Diab Al-Louh held the Israeli far-right government fully responsible for the region reaching this stage of dangerous slide, and the far-right government deliberately transforming the political conflict into an extremist religious one, which would bring disasters to the region, especially the consequences of marketing false Zionist narratives and myths that mislead the reality of the conflict from a historical politician. To a demographic population, and the struggles of the Palestinians will continue until the entire national territory is restored, as Egypt went and achieved its great victories in glorious October.

Ambassador Al-Louh called on the international community and the Security Council to assume its political and historical responsibility to stop the brutal aggression and quickly end the hateful Israeli occupation and enable the Palestinian people to practice their normal lives, enjoy their legitimate rights, and establish their independent, viable state connected geographically along the lines of land occupied in 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital. He called on the international community to complete the specific initiative proposed by President Abbas at the United Nations to hold an international peace conference in the Middle East as a last opportunity to save the region, to which Israel’s response was a genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

Ambassador Diab Al-Louh confirmed the continuation of intensive contacts between President Abu Mazen and the Arab brothers to put an end to this brutal war to which the Palestinian people are exposed. Hoping that it will be crowned with immediate success in curbing this war and its raging fires against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Jerusalem, and that the Palestinian people will be able to establish their independent state with full national sovereignty, geographically connected and viable on all Palestinian lands.
