HH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman: Saudi-Japanese relations are historic.. We will prepare together for next summit in Saudi Arabia next year

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, affirmed that relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan are historic and Japan is a dear country to all Saudis.

“We will work together to prepare for the 20th summit in 2020 in Saudi Arabia,” HH the Crown Prince said during a meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Osaka on Sunday. “Everyone is happy with the progress made in the past few years in the fields of cooperation.

For his part, the Japanese Prime Minister welcomed the crown prince and thanked him for his participation and success in the summit of G20 in Osaka.

He praised the Kingdom’s progress in accordance with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, pointing to the keenness of the Government of Japan and its readiness through the public and private sectors to provide more effort and cooperation with the Kingdom.

The Japanese prime minister also expressed his government’s readiness to cooperate in order to make the work of the upcoming G-20 summit, hosted by Saudi Arabia, a success.

The meeting discussed the prospects of cooperation between the two friendly countries in accordance with the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, especially in the economic, trade, investment and cultural fields and means of enhancing bilateral relations
