* Finalizing Omani-Pakistani talks during the visit of the President of the Senate of Pakistan during the National Day celebrations!

The Sultanate of Oman still receives official delegations during the National Day celebrations. The Pakistan Senate Chairman was received upon his arrival by Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council and other dignitaries. -ONA has held talks with Pakistan Mohammad Sadiq Sangrani, President of the Senate of Pakistan.

* Wise policy!

For his part, Sangrani said that the wise policy set by Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman has made the Sultanate distanced itself. The problems that beset the region enabled it to become the focal point between the adversaries and extend a helping hand for international peace and security.

* Non – interference!

He pointed out that the foreign policy pursued by non-interference in the affairs of others and non-involvement of the Sultanate in regional conflicts enabled Oman to pay more attention to local affairs and to work on developing the Sultanate in all fields and levels during the past 48 years.

* Visionary leader!

Sangrani praised the tremendous development witnessed by the Sultanate under the leadership of Sultan Qaboos, the wise and visionary leader who was able to make the Sultanate a modern state of high standing at the regional and global levels

* Bilateral relations!

He talked about his visit to the Sultanate, which aimed to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries
In all fields, especially in aspects related to parliamentary work and benefit from experiences of both sides, referring to the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Board of Omani state and the Pakistani Senate.

* Joint parliamentary friendship!

He explained that a parliamentary friendship committee was formed in both houses to meet regularly and discuss legislative and parliamentary matters in both countries in addition to highlighting the trade and investment opportunities available to both sides, expressing the hope that the joint parliamentary friendship will contribute to the promotion and development of relations between Pakistan and Oman.
