Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh congratulated the government and people of Azerbaijan on the first anniversary of Azerbaijan’s victory over Armenia and the liberation of its lands after nearly 30 years of occupation.
Zadeh said that Iran has always stood against the occupation during the 30 years and recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
Saeed Khatibzadeh added at a press conference held in Tehran on November 8, that we congratulate Azerbaijan on the occasion of the liberation of its lands from occupation and the anniversary of victory.
Khatibzadeh stressed the necessity of eliminating the dispute between the two neighboring countries, pointing out that the Iranian and Azerbaijani foreign ministers held talks through contacts on this issue.
