The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, received today at the embassy headquarters the Egyptian Siamese twins Salma and Sarah Abdel-Ghani Hilal and their parents, before they traveled to the Kingdom for the “separation” operation that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz – ordered – may God protect him.

Ambassador Noqli welcomed the family and reassured the health of the two children, pointing out that the generous royal initiative to travel the twins and their parents to conduct the operation in the Kingdom comes within the framework of the distinguished brotherly relations between the governments and peoples of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, and the ties of blood and kinship witnessed by the wise leadership – may God protect them – from Care and interest in humanitarian work in all countries of the world.

At the end of the meeting, the ambassador Noqli handed the passports and visas of the two children and their parents, asking God Almighty to crown the process with success and a safe return to the land of Egypt. While the father of the two children expressed his thanks and deep gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this generous initiative, stressing that it is not strange to the “king of humanity,” Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz – may God protect him.

The operation is scheduled to take place during the next few days, at King Abdulaziz Medical City in the National Guard in Riyadh, by a Saudi medical team headed by His Excellency the Adviser at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Action, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, and 25 doctors and specialists will participate in it. In addition to technicians and nursing staff.

It is worth noting that the Kingdom leads the world in the number of operations carried out by the Saudi program to separate conjoined twins over three decades, during which more than fifty operations of this type were conducted, to reflect this process of the extent to which the health sector in the Kingdom receives great support from the rational leadership – may God protect it In line with the Kingdom’s 2030 vision.
