The facilitators (Saudi Arabia and the United States) noted during these talks that both sides did not commit themselves not to seek military gains during the 48-hour period, prior to the start of the ceasefire, and although the fighting in Khartoum was less intense than before, the facilitators reported Both sides of the conflict reported violations of the ceasefire, which included attacks in Khartoum, Al-Obeid, air strikes, and the use of weapons.

Today in Jeddah, representatives of the Follow-up and Coordination Committee engaged in constructive discussions about humanitarian aid and its delivery, and worked to include the leaders of the two parties to talk about allegations of violations of the ceasefire, and work to deliver humanitarian aid to provide relief to the needy.
