Ambassador Osama Noqli inaugurates the new headquarters of VSC ‘Taasheer’

The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Osama bin Ahmed Noqli, inaugurated, in Cairo, the headquarters of the Visa Services Center (VSC) “Taasheer” of the Saudi Company for Visa and Travel Solutions, owned by the Public Investment Fund, in the presence of the CEO of the company, Fahd bin Suleiman Al-Amoud, and the Minister Plenipotentiary, Director of the Department. The vital characteristics of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Fahd bin Salem Abu Thanene, and the head of the consular section at the embassy, Sultan bin Faraj Al-Subaie.

Ambassador Noqli toured the center, during which he was briefed on the workflow and listened to a detailed explanation of all the services provided by the center to applicants for entry visas to the Kingdom, starting with receiving the passport, through processing the application, taking vital characteristics, and ending with the issuance of the visa.

In a statement after the tour, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his satisfaction with what he witnessed of the advanced level of providing services with a new vision and modern methods, with the aim of being efficient, disciplined and speedy, from the “visa” center of the Saudi Company for Visa and Travel Solutions, which replaced the previous Tasheel company. To provide visa services in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

He explained that the work of the new center coincides with the Kingdom’s implementation of the electronic visa service in Egypt, which aims to automate and raise the quality of consular services provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced last May.

Ambassador Noqli confirmed that this reflects the development witnessed by the Kingdom in the field of providing government services and other fields, in accordance with the programs and objectives of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which enjoys the support and care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the guidance, supervision and close follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister – may God protect them both.

The headquarters of the Visa Service Center “Taeshir” is located in the heart of the Egyptian capital, in the Katameya region on the ring road, in order to achieve easy access to it from all parts of it. The center is the largest center in the Middle East, and the number of its main branches in Egypt is 11 branches covering Greater Cairo and Alexandria. And Suez.

 The capacity of the new center is to receive 2,400 passports per day. About 80 employees are working on its completion, including courier employees who send the passports after completing their procedures to the addresses of their owners throughout the Arab Republic of Egypt.

At the end of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt praised the efforts of the Center’s employees, and took memorial photos with them on this occasion.
