King Salman Relief Center gives hand to more than 280.000 Afghani people during 2023

The values of giving, compassion, extending a helping hand, and helping those in need are an authentic, well-established approach that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has continued throughout its noble history, until Saudi charitable and humanitarian work has become a global beacon to be emulated and a prominent flag to be emulated, and the Kingdom has become a pioneer in this field at the international level, in return for its humanitarian and relief efforts. In this context, the Kingdom, through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center, implemented an emergency food aid project for those affected by the floods and the most needy families in Afghanistan, in cooperation with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

During the year 2023 AD, the project distributed 47,400 food baskets in the provinces of Kabul, Lugar, Laghman, Nuristan, Badakhshan, Nimroz, Ghor, Kandahar, Helmand, Farah, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Khost, and Herat, benefiting 284,400 individuals, including 47,400 families.

This comes within the framework of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Centre. To help those in need and affected people around the world.
