Launching the “Fierce Fury 24” exercise between KSA & USA Marines

The “Fierce Fury 24” logistical exercise was launched between the Saudi Armed Forces and the US Marine Corps, in the exercise operations area in the commercial port of Yanbu on the Red Sea coast.

The exercise was opened in the presence of the Commander of the Western Region, Major General Pilot Ahmed bin Ali Al-Dabis, and a number of senior officers of the Saudi Armed Forces, and from the American side, the Director of the US Central Command in the Kingdom, Brigadier General Richard J. Quark, and a number of senior officials in the US Army.

Commander of the “Fire Rage 24” exercise, Brigadier General Oqab bin Awad Al-Mutairi, explained that the exercise, which will be carried out in several stages with the participation of a number of government agencies, aims to enhance coordination and partnership, exchange experiences between the two sides, and raise the training level in the use of military bases and road networks in the Kingdom. In addition to training on working with civil and military government agencies to implement such exercises.

He stressed that the exercise includes many hypotheses and exercises on transport and supply operations and live ammunition shooting, starting from Yanbu Governorate and passing through several regions until the Prince Sultan Air Base in Al Kharj, while the American forces are completing the exercise in the sisterly United Arab Emirates.
