After Eid holiday, the Fantasia Exhibition opens the Russian activity April 6/8

At 7:00 PM tomorrow, Sunday, April 6, 2025, Arseniy Matyushenko, Acting Director of the Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt, will inaugurate the visual arts exhibition “Fantasia” by Alexandrian artist Omaima Abdel Aziz at the exhibition hall of the Russian House in Cairo. The exhibition will be attended by Hassan Wasfi, Head of the Alexandria Fine Artists Syndicate, and Sherif Gad, Director of Cultural Activities and Secretary-General of the Egyptian-Russian Friendship Association.

The exhibition will continue until April 8. It is worth noting that the Fantasia Exhibition is the fourth solo exhibition by artist Omaima Abdel Aziz, featuring 53 paintings. She emphasized that the works embody a dialogue with oneself and a liberation of inner feelings. She used various materials, such as acrylic, watercolor, and ink. The artist/ Omaima Abdel Aziz is a member of the Egyptian Writers Union. She has several literary publications, including “Buh Al Watar” (A collection of short stories), “Lavender Letters” (First and Second Editions) (A collection of short stories), “Outside the Scope of Time” (A collection of short stories), “The Red Goblins” (A novel), “Hymns of a Lover” (Prose poems), “Your Specter, a Passerby” (Prose poems), “Scraps of Paper” (Prose poems), “Children’s Stories” (Qatar Al Nada Magazine) and “The Little Arab” (Kuwait). She also has many children’s story illustrations for several magazines, and is the author of many literary book covers.
