An Omani cultural forum held in the Furzani district of Zanzibar has highlighted the profound cultural and historical ties between the Sultanate of Oman and Zanzibar.
The forum, which runs until September 13, features an exhibition showcasing Omani heritage through traditional products, garments, and models that reflect the richness of the Omani environment and culture.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Leila Mohammed Musa, Minister of Education and Vocational Training in Zanzibar, alongside the Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Heritage. Also in attendance were Saeed bin Salem Al-Sanawi, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Zanzibar, as well as a number of officials from both sides.
