Dr. Osama El-Azhari, Egypt’s Minister of Religious Endowments, attended the celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Indonesia as Guest of Honor at the Indonesian Embassy in Cairo this evening. He was warmly received by H.E. Lutfi Rauf, Ambassador of Indonesia to Egypt, in the presence of H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Shaheen, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Southeast Asia, Australia, Oceania, and New Zealand.
In his remarks, Minister El-Azhari extended heartfelt congratulations to the Indonesian ambassador, expressing his deep joy and pride in the bonds of cooperation between Egypt and Indonesia. He praised the distinguished ties uniting the Presidents of both countries, which serve as a foundation for enduring friendship between the two peoples.
For his part, Ambassador Rauf expressed gratitude to Minister El-Azhari for honoring the celebration as Guest of Honor, underscoring the significance of his presence in strengthening the spirit of brotherhood between Egypt and Indonesia.
